MANX OVERVIEW
The Manx cat is a breed of domestic cat that has no tail. The name “Manx” comes from the Isle of Man, an island in the Irish Sea where they were first bred as working farm cats. They are currently one of the most popular breeds in America and Europe.
“Manx” means tailless in Gaelic. The mutation causes the Manx to be born without its tail. These cats have been popular for centuries and are still considered quite rare today. If you’re looking for an unusual pet, one who isn’t like any other animal you’ve ever met before, then this may be the perfect match for you.
